Seeing that parties and balls are taking place left, right and centre in Tinseltown, what better place to start for holiday dressing inspiration?
Charlotte Tilbury hosted a Naughty Christmas party to celebrate the launch of her new flagship beauty boutique in Covent Garden, London. Being the queen of A-list makeup, you can bet there was a starry guest list. Kate Bosworth looked like a modern day Cinderella in a powder blue Simone Rocha tea dress, but it was Amal Clooney that stole everyone’s attention. Dressed in a vintage metallic Lanvin crop top and culottes, we’re sure ladies everywhere are taking holiday style notes.
When it comes to holiday dressing, a party outfit is not complete without some razzle dazzle. Case in point: Miley Cyrus at Bill Murray’s holiday special A Very Murray Christmas. Surprisingly more covered up than usual, the singer, who blew the Internet away with her singing, stepped out in a sparkly little white Prada dress. Meanwhile Lupita Nyong’o and Kiernan Shipka proved that a little black dress is never too basic for a holiday party, especially when embellishments are involved. But in terms of glitz and glam, no one did it quite like Kristen Stewart. Though it wasn’t a holiday party per se, K-Stew had our Pinterest fingers at the ready by juxtaposing a dazzling bolero jacket with a pair of high-waist leather pants at last week’s Chanel Metiers d’Art show.
