Cue the awws! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge bundled up their adorable kiddies—Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 10 months—for a royal winter break in an undisclosed location in the French Alps last week. It was the first time the family of four has gone on holiday together, and the first time that both children played in the snow. (Are you hearing the song The Hills Are Alive in your head, too?)
It comes as no surprise that the fashion on display was brilliant, too. Kate Middleton put the cool, and cute, into the family’s cold weather looks. Her white ski jacket and red ski pants by E+O (an oldie but a goodie) said sporty chic, as did her navy Eisbär hat. Prince William’s bright blue ski jacket continued the primary colour theme, but the royal couple’s little ones win the award for most stylish snow angels. Prince George’s navy snowsuit by Mountain Warehouse and Princess Charlotte’s white John Lewis baby snowsuit (we’re loving the ears on the hood and the faux fur trim) are the candy equivalent of a kid’s wardrobe—super sweet and we’re left wanting more. With spring just around the corner, here’s hoping we see this adorbs foursome don matching striped looks or bright candy colours sometime soon. Okay, all together now: Awwww.
